COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF MCDM METHODS FOR THE ASSESSMENT OF ICT DEVELOPMENT IN G7 COUNTRIES

Information and communication technology (ICT) enable information to be accessed processed through all kinds of visual, audio, printed written tools. This study aimed evaluate the ICT development G7 countries by using Multi Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) methods. Accordingly, Entropy method was used specify criteria weights, Proximity Indexed Value (PIV), Range (ROV), COmplex PRoportional ASsessment (COPRAS) methods were rank alternatives. In final stage, rankings obtained based PIV, ROV, COPRAS compared with results Level Based Weight Assessment (LBWA) Measurement Alternatives Ranking according Compromise Solution (MARCOS) method, a comparative analysis performed. Finally, it determined that weights objective subjective had different effects on ranking results.
